Long Cased Arrangement

Single-stage fans – direct driven – for vertical/horizontal mounting

Beatson Fans & Motors Ltd offer an extensive range of Long Cased Axial Fans.

We have a range of standard case sizes to which we can add a motor and impeller to suit your technical specification (parameters permitting).

We also have the capability to copy your original (no longer manufactured) fan design to suit your application.

Available as standard metric sizes from 250mm to 1250mm with a variety of performances and finishes and IP55 as standard.

Fan Construction:

Casings: fully welded mild steel flanged either end and complete with access door. Wire mesh guards and external terminal boxes can be provided as optional extras.

Motors: totally enclosed fan ventilated generally to IEC 34-1 BS 5000 and BS 4999. Foot mounted. Single or 3 Phase. Motors for hazardous areas i.e type EX N, EX D (B.A.S.E.F.F.A Certified) or company specifications can be provided on all sizes of fans.

Voltages: standard motors are wound for 240, 380 or 415 volts 50Hz, 60Hz or any special voltage or frequency can be provided.

Impellers: die cast polypropylene blades are mounted in die cast aluminium hub, bored and keywayed to suit the motor shaft. Aluminium bladed impellers can be provided as an optional extra.
